Call for Proposals

Due: APRIL 22, 2024, 11:59 PM

Mission: The Texas State Galleries FLEX space invites Texas State Art and Design students, faculty, staff or alumni to propose dynamic exhibition programming for Fall 2024. The FLEX provides an opportunity for these individuals to envision and assemble well-considered, visually engaging, and conceptually stimulating programming. In so doing, the FLEX hosts exhibitions and events that highlight the unique creative vision of students, alumni, faculty, and staff in ways that augment the educational experience for students, and link them to the TXST Art and Design community and to the larger art world.

Types of Programming:

  • Solo or group exhibitions

  • Screenings or performances

  • Lectures, panels, or roundtables

  • Workshops

All TXST School of Art and Design students, alumni, faculty, and staff are eligible to apply. Student-submitted proposals require a faculty sponsor from the School of Art and Design and are responsible for confirming the faculty member’s support.
